I see all these MILLIONS of squirrels in my city, and just got idea..if I started catching them & adding them to my "Jimmy Deans" pure pork breakfast links, would I get in hot water with the law?…. But seriously, I there are so many squirrels in Chicago it seems every tree has its resident squirrel. And though they are not as dangerous in spreading diseases as rats, they can be nuisance/pests just as much, if they make nests under house gutters or other parts of a house. So what are the general regulations on squirrels?..is it against the law to trap them or kill them?..And just out of curiosity, is there any estimate of numbers of squirrels in Chicago, or N.Y.C.?..or other cities?…
There is TOO MANY of them. I bet if they were carnivores-like rats-and eating pet dogs and cats I bet the city regulations regarding them would change.
