General Stanley A. McChrystal
-graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1976
-He commanded the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) for five years, serving first as Commanding General, Joint Special Operations Command, from September 2003 to February 2006, and then as Commander, Joint Special Operations Command/Commander, Joint Special Operations Command Forward, from February 2006 to August 2008. Nominally assigned to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he spent most of his time in Afghanistan, at U.S. Central Command’s forward headquarters in Qatar, and in Iraq. Early successes included the capture by JSOC forces of Saddam Hussein in December 2003. He was promoted to lieutenant general on February 16, 2006.

–McChrystal holds a bachelor in science degree from the United States Military Academy, a master of arts degree in national security and strategic studies from the United States Naval War College, and a master of science degree in international relations from Salve Regina University

General McChrystal is Obama’s "Hand picked" General.
Part of being President is being Commander In Chief and that’s the biggest reason why I voted for McCain. Obama supporters said that it didn’t matter that Obama had no military experience because he would have military advisers. That would only be valid if Obama listened to his military advisers, and that doesn’t appear to be the case. Obviously General McChrystal is someone Obama should be listening to.
